HI-TECH Software's download area has product updates, manuals and demonstration versions for users to access, along with several free software products.

Files within this section require registration. For demos, free software and manuals you must have registered on this site for download access. If you have previously registered you may simply log in using the email address you provided, and a user ID that was emailed to you.

Evaluation and Free Software

 Fully funtional 45-day evaluation software of HI-TECH C® compilers are available. HI-TECH C PRO compilers can also be downloaded and operated in the freeware Lite mode.

Product Updates

 Product updates are available to registered HI-TECH Software customers only. You must register your product via the product registration page before you will have access its updates. Customers with High Priority Access are entitled to web access to new versions, patch level updates, and priority technical support for nominated compilers.

MPLAB® IDE Plugin

 We recommend you use the latest version of our HI-TECH Universal Toolsuite plugin when building in MPLAB IDE. The universal toolsuite facilitates easier project migration between HI-TECH compilers and allows selection of compiler version if multiple versions of a compiler are concurrently installed.

 An archive of previous compiler versions are available for registered customers.

 If your compiler requires a key for activation, one can be obtained from the Activation Key page.
